Upon needing an emergency electrician. Matt and his colleague came out within the hour in South Manchester when no one else could. He is not only such a great guy and friendly, but his work is detailed and extremely tidy. He made sure to stay the additional time to ensure the job was completed and overall just provided a fantastic service. I cannot recommend him enough and now he will be our main electrician for every job in our home. Thank you!!
Full rewire and fitting of new lights
Matt and his team did a fantastic job. They completed a full rewire of our Edwardian property. The work has been completed to a high standard. The communication was excellent and the property left in a very clean state. I would recommend MJD to anyone needing electrical work doing.
Occupied Rewire done with care
After a quick visit and reasonale quote, Matt managed to fit in our full house (occupied) rewire a week earlier than planned. Along with his colleagues and apprentice, he arrived on time each day and took great care of our things.
Matt did everything as promised and went out of his way to make sure the house was still liveable each night. They worked around my dog and cat on the day I couldn’t take them out of the house and answered all of my questions in detail.

Matt dealt with a wide range of issues at my house. From quoting until the work was complete, replies were always very quick, he arrived punctually and was able to explain clearly and in detail the reasons for what he was doing. Matt found solutions that took into account how I use the space each step of the way and post-work niggles were also solved promptly. I’d trust Matt to do any future work on my electrics.
Install 3 outside up/down lights
Matt came and installed 3 outside up/down lights and a timer. The work was completed to a high standard and advised of some issues for me to get looked at in the future. Will defiantly use again for a few more electrical projects I have over the next few months.
New fuse box installation and rewire

Lights and socket installed in Garage
Absolutely sterling job! Matt came and isolated the power from our outside buildings to an old pump in a pond in our garden. He then came back after our garage roof was replaced and installed some lights and sockets for us. The flexibility to work around us whilst we did some small repairs was great, especially as this did take quite a while to have the garage ready to have the work done. All I can say is that Matt is honest, reliable and works to a very high standard and we will certainly be contacting him again when we have the inside of the house renovated.
